Make sure you update your graphics card to its latest version, install direct x and vcredist.

Here's a ready config.xml I uploaded for you, open it in note or word pad and set your own resolution then try running GunZ again.

so I recently got a new pc to play games on, it's an alienware x15.

gunz launcher opens and updates correctly, but when I hit start the game launches and runs gunz.exe for a few seconds. My screen goes black, then it goes back to the desktop. I tried to find the config.xml or w/e the file is to see if the resolution was too high but I can't find it. Help pls?

ok after putting config.xml in the gunz directory, I'm finally getting a directx error. Everything is up to date.

You have an alienware and you're playing gunz /hatsoff.

Btw try running it in safemode and see if it works?

I'll try this. But nothing is working I have windows 8, that's my problem lololol. Probably just going to say f*ck it and install windows 10. looll

Windows 10 was launched because Windows 8 had many bugs..you can try that.

are you talking about running a program in safemode, or my pc in safemode?

What i meant was run your PC in safe mode and then try running gunz.
