Great suggestion to get rid of mean players!

Lol I love how an entirely reasonable suggestion is being considered to moot because of some subtext that is a bit wonky. What's the problem with an in-game report that sends the past few chats of a player to the server for review? Obviously Gunz is a game where you get a bit riled, but there's a report section which does mute for stuff like this, is there not? What's so wrong with automating part of the process that at times can be extensive? Sure, there'd be false reports and things like that. And some people would probably get blacklisted from using that, I'd imagine? Due to spam or what have you.


Being rude is one thing, but going off on a guy because he's rocketing in a dm and telling him to kill himself, ddos threats, etc, are all things that should be punished in my opinion, and what seems to be the general opinion as well(hence the report section where things like this get taken seriously).

They think I only report soft stuff! NO! I REPORT MEAN AND OBNOXIOUS COMMENT

As much as this thing could be useful for ingame reports I think it would take too much time considering it has to take a screenshot -> access the latest taken screenshot in ur folder, upload it, make a thread and all that.

harassing members and so on, A Ingame report function would be dope but i already suggested this.

This repeats and this is not new, Hackers do this as well.

I would like, rather I would love if there was an efficient and more convenient way to report rude people. For example I for one make sure to report every mean comment I see as I do not tolerate such activity but after my 200th, 300th report it becomes a hassle to make a thread every time. My suggestion is if there was a report button ingame which automatically screenshots the screen and reports it automatically to our amazing, friendly, handsome, beautiful, hard working staff members of FGUNZ it would be a great, fantastic, intense, jolly idea!

Anyways, this sounds very unlikely and very hard to code. I don't know how we're suppose to take care of reports in-game unless you mean that it creates a report here at the forum, If I remember correctly then Dave stated that the game and the forum aren't connected so I think that's gonna be really difficult for them to create something like this.

Other than that, since reporting someone actually takes time (screenshot, upload, go to the forum and write it down and etc) then I think that if it was as easy as 123 in-game to create a report about really anything, people would just abuse it and report people for the smallest things ever and we would just have to go through a whole bunch of troll/minor reports everyday.

Not everyone does it again, you're really stretching this out I believe. Not everyone is the same either so if you hacked once and been banned for 6 months then you're worth a second chance in my opinion. If you then hack again then it becomes obviously more difficult to get unbanned next time.

This was the wonky stuff I was talking about. You could instead just pull the last, say, 30 lines of chat from each person involved. Both the person reporting, and the reportee. No need to take a screenshot and upload it.

Somehow i got the feeling this function gets abused alot if this suggestion might get accepted.
Every single bad word or harrashment gets reported which would give the staff even more work to check these reports.

For the players it might be a very useful and easy function but for the staff itself it would be a hell.

You're acting as if a feature couldn't be put into place to bar those who abuse it from using it.
