    I just downloaded fgunz for the first time in 3 years,and when the patch failed,i immediately got a windows defender pop up about a trojan called "trojan:win32/varpes.h!cl"

    is this actually a trojan or....?

    No it isn't a trojan, its a FGunz file for the update. ( Trojan:Win32/Varpes.H!cl ) is a Gunz file. Either disable Windows Defender or Accept the ( Trojan:Win32/Varpes.H!cl ) in the history tab. Depending on which version of windows defender you may have or your OS version will vary on where the history tab is located.

    windows defender is a shit antivirus anyways

    uninstall it or disable it


    and install avast antivirus make sure you put your gunz folder in exceptions list of avast and disable avast shield controls for 10 minutes ( for patching )

    Or just add the entire fgunz map to your anti virus exclusionlist '-'
