Crash GTX 1070

I got my GTX 1070 since yesterday, it is working reallllyyy good like unbelievable good.
just it happend to crash like 4 times out of the 200 times i tried it out, i wasn't able to capture a image of the crash untill now.
This crash only happens when I end a black ops 3 zombie game it never happend in game nor will it probly happen ingame.
it happens when the cutscene appears in the frozen forest.
I got zero issues with the card just the rare crash that happens after the game ends.
maybe u guys got any experience with this or do u guys think this is a DOA. I hope it is because if it is not it will probly be a issue with the card and the game.

Mobo: MSI Z170A Mate
SSD: 850 PRO samsung 250GB
HDD: 2 TB 7500 rpm seagate
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x 8GB DDR4
GPU: MSI GTX 1070 XGAMING 8GB

You checked if your CPU/Mobo can handle it before you bought it?

Thankyou for your reply, is it possible that i messed something up with the power cable at the card?
I remember I have 2 8 pins and I got 2 seperate pins for the 6 PCIE pin, maybe I got to turn something around ?

Btw, I also had issues with HUGE FPS drops at zombies.
I found the problem, Shadow map quality: Extra was causing this.
Once I dropped it 1 level lower to high everything was smooth as ****, idk if this is common with the GTX 1070 on Extra but if it isn't that might also be a sign of DOA.

Be sure to re-check if you did that properly or not, could be one of the issues.
Sadly I am not a pc god so try that and post again if you know more.

Do you have the feeling for not reaching the fps you are suppose to? Atleast thats what i have (having a gtx 1070 aswel) - offtopic question though

FPS is more then fine when I lowered Shadow map quality to high.
im never dropping below 70.
on a 1440P 144hz monitor

I doubt it is a power thing as it works perfectly fine just at the point of game ending it sometime fails.

333 fps on gunz, on blackops 3 at ultra im having 70 fps at lowest drop possible
