Hmm, for windows defender I added the folder to the exclusions list but it still didnt fix the problem, so I just turned off the anti virus.
Its so annoying, even though you have the folder excluded if you click on the launcher windows defender will still be checking it, and auto delete it
maybe try excluding launcher.exe and gunz.exe as files
