you don't want to aim for the feet always. aim for the middle of the body unless the enemy is already blocking or is notorious for blocking a lot mid battle.
I used to talk about this with wucas, but there is a certain point in the feet, which just Pulls bullets towards him somehow, it is build in the "Body Mest/Hitboxes"
it's just as a Console game, the hitboxes are there, and a model is wrapped around it.

the feet hitbox of a female char, is bugged.
somehow you will hit 1.2 to 1.3 times more than any other part of the body.
with an exception to the head which has a 2x rate

to be honest the "feet" - "body" hit ratio discussion is more development based than angle based.

just remember, A shotgun damage = 10
it shoots 5 bullets
therefor IF all bullets hit, there is 50 damage max (think about a close range spb)

If you shoot in a wall, while standing in front of it, all bullets are centered.
if you walk further and further, it spreads more.

2 bullet hits = 2 x 10 = 20 damage
and so on.

while it spreads, your hit ratio is way lower.

In a slashshot it's less about the angle than you think.
the spreading is different
instead of spreading equally all the way around
it goes more spreading in a line from the left to the right.

The angle of hitting is not the problem, because a cam is not like reallife, hit an hitbox is minus the damage dealt.
no matter what angle, RealSpace2 (The engine gunz is running on) is not advanced enough to measure such things.

to make it simple;
hitbox bug in feet.
get to know the spreading ratio. (not shown in gunz, but in zitem)
and know what your hit ratio is from certain distance, what is the best movement you could possibly do?
