Have you tried a system restore (Should be as a last measure)?
I am not using an antivirus program, I am not sure on how to add exceptions to Windows defender

I've tried running it as admin, didn't work and I tried compatibility mode too :|

I'm just shitting out questions and suggestions to get more of an idea of the origin of the problem.
Questions are good man :p atleast you're trying to help and no, I haven't been able to get on a different connection yet

I think that it might be my connection though but I've already reset my router not sure what else to do with it.
