    Whatever you did in V8 to make this happen, please change it back.
    If my crosshair turns red and shows the enemy's name, I should be able to shoot and hit.
    It should, aside from shotgun spread, range, and whatever (idiotic) obstacles you've added in V8, be a guaranteed hit.
