GunZ is based on P2P (peer to peer, machine to machine, your PC to his PC, direct connection) which means that in a game, it's relatively easy to figure out which IP belongs to who, especially if there are only 2-3 total players in-game. Having NAT makes it much harder because your traffic is routed through the FGunZ server and you wont have a direct connection with the players anymore.

Even if they don't say it out loud, they can still figure it out and just not tell you.
