After excessive testing I found sg3 to be the best. It negates the long range issues we had before, while minimizing the effect on mid range shots. Anything above sg4 makes the medium range shots do negligible damage, which I fear would result in a steep change in the weaponry used in clanwars resulting in people using revs and camping instead.
