For real, and the best part about it is i haven't been able to find it, and i haven't bothered with reinstalling my OS.

You won't find it because it's integrated in the client and encrypted (probably) which won't be caught be the AV if you're manually scanning, you'd have to RE the client to get source code to prove it out, although I'm pretty sure once they got caught they stopped but who knows, once a trash person - always a trash one.
