Last time I played was in 2010 and ping/leading shots was a big part of the game. Now that isp speeds and latency have improved, has this helped with that aspect of the game any?

There is something called "anti-lead" now. Basically, no matter if its 20 ping or 200, if you hit a shot and you get the hit marker, it will register 100%. So aim at the center, leading will not work anymore.

rocket league is where its at
now you get on gunz you either go to events or training rooms
All afk
The game is still the same as back then with minor changes.
If you were any good back in the early days of Gunz, than you will only need a warm up for a couple of days and you will be back and ready for 1v1s and cws.
I have not played much in the last few years but the only noticeable thing I experienced is that you can't trust people anymore.
Either they are snakes or will backstab you in a way.
It also caught my attention that people accuse others of underclocking way to fast.
And the majority of the players that play now, do not know how to spot it.
The game was ahead of its time in my opinion and it is a shame it won't go back as it once was.
Other than that it is still a fun game to play.

just gonna disagree on 1 thing; a player who might have been good back in the day probably isn't in today's standards. not many people knew how to play, and it was easy to dominate back then. now, everyone is an oldgen basically, and some have improved more than the early players ever were.
