If this is going to be a thing, I can't see it being more than 1 second of invincibility or 90% damage reduction (which is clearly visible to the enemy for clarity purposes using a force field or something), because 1 second is pretty huge in a busy room, with perhaps 2 uses.
However, while this sounds interesting, I can see it most of all being used by players who want to rush in and spam explosives, adding more harm than good for the ongoing problem of excessive explosives.
