    A new tutorial, Yay!?

This tutorial will teach you how to create glowing lines using the Pen Tool.
    Let's get started.

I started by creating a new file with 300 pixel width and 400 pixel height but ofcourse you can use your own size. I made the background black because glowing lines are more nice on a black background.

(The text is just for anti-rip, so people won't steal my tutorial)

Now we are going to take the Pen Tool by pressing P or choose the Pen Tool from the menu.

NOTE: Make sure that you have these settings in the upper left corner:

    Now create a new layer.

After creating a new layer, we are going to start drawing with the Pen Tool. Get your mouse to the spot where you want to begin and click and drag the line so you get something like this:

Now release the left mouse button and you will notice a line will follow your cursor.

Now move your mouse to another spot and click and drag down a little bit. You will get something like this:

Now keep on doing that until you get something like this:

Ofcourse you can go any direction you want.

After finishing drawing your lines, press ESC and the line won't follow your cursor anymore. Grab the Brush Tool by pressing B or click it in the menu, after selecting the Brush Tool you go to the upper left corner and click the arrow and choose the 9px soft brush.

Now make sure your foreground color is NOT black or else you won't see your line (black on black.)

Now grab your Pen Tool again by pressing P or click it in the menu and right click on the line you made and select Stroke Path.

A box will appear asking you which tool you want, choose Brush and tick the box of Simulate Pressure and press OK.

Now you have created your line but its not glowing yet so let's make it glow.

Go to the layer of your line in the layer panel, right click and choose Blending Options.

The Blending Options box will appear. Tick the box of Outer Glow and play arround with the settings.

    And your done!

    Outcome:

    Have fun!

Well the glowing line should like twist around the text so every 2nd part should be BEHIND it (erased)

Other than that, nice tut, I've seen the idea somewhere else already but nicely explained anyways

^Joey's birthday present for me, thanks son ;)^

Great explanation this would definitely help out people that are new to photoshop, however you can save alot of time by simple taking a 1-3px hard brush ( white ) make a line in the middle and Warp the line. that's pretty much the easiest way to do it.

    Great tut
