Check if your antivirus blocks the launcher.

Doesn't seem to be antivirus problem since you can go to login interface.

Try to alt tab when u got to login screen and see if the mouse response is smooth then login

could you please provide some additional information on what's happening like:
- the game crashes at start up
- won't allow me to log-in
- lolomgbbqsomeonejuststolemyfood etc.

also on how to disable security etc on win7:
start>control panel>System and security you will find everything you need in there.
also i never heard of an microsoft installed AV?
so could you please provide me the name of your AV and i'll try to make you a tutorial on how to do it.

i also have win 7 , This Probably might help:
1-Turn off anti-virus while you are downloading ( download might be blocked and files might be lost if it was on.
2-Close any unneeded applications on your computer.
3-Check for any anti-hack protection systems on your computer , if there were any already active the game won't run.
4-Close your anti-virus before you start the game.
5-When you start a game Press Right-click>RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
6-Log in and enjoy the game .
