Everything was working fine until last night, as i try to login, i click connect, gunz crashes and i get the 'Xaio's Runnable has stopped working.' message.

i've already redownloaded the launcher from various links, with my antivirus turned off, and when i try to run the launcher i get the 'not a valid win32 application' message.
also, when i delete the launcher it says its file size is 0b.

    any help guys? (:

When the file size is 0 bytes it means your anti-virus deleted it.
Many times when you disable your anti-virus it can still detect false-positives.

Try the first step of this: http://fgunz.net/faq.php#1.1
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

did that yesterday, was my first step actually

EDIT: I have disabled both windows firewall along with my antivirus via Services.msc, and the file download still comes out at 0b. what could be deleting the file? :/

    Nevermind, i've fixed it now.
The problem was indeed my antivirus, since it had quarantined gunz before it turned itself on each time to delete it because it was a 'known risk file'.

    fixed now though (:
