    What do you mean? Im sorry if a sound a little noobish and silly, but im new to photoshop and i really like to do it

    so my points are:

    - make the colors match with eachother
    - use a solid stock, in this case i used a medieval based stock since it matches it's theme to stay realistic.
    - Create depth there are 2 solid ways to do this:
    a. Use lighting the right way, by either soft brushes and/or the burn tool.
    b. Use the sharpen and blur tools the proper way i suggest you to follow a tutorial on www.gfxvoid.com
    - Proper composition ( right placement of the render ) if you use a small render in a big canvas like you just did you will create alot of empty space and this render is cut off around the waist so you will have to blend ALOT. this will ruin your tag.
    - Blend your render the right way, in my case i only did the right arm and the lower left part of his cloak so that he's still the vocal point yet doesn't stand out as if he's copy pasted onto the canvas.

    also i'll leave a download link down below for the PSD for everyone that likes to see it.
    this only took me like 5min to do, just play around and don't be afraid to test stuff out.
