How do you go about re-learning a new key-configuration

I'm planning to re-learns the ways of k-style, and d-style with a new key-configuration.

But I keep running into a problem, I always mess up and just switch back to my old configuration, which is messed up imho ;3

Any tips?

You should get used to the new one. That's it '-' play like 1 week and then you'll be fine.
