Anyways I started with C++ at the beginning of this year. I have a general understanding of C++ and I am an excellent php/mysql coder but I feel I have no idea on how to apply C++. I have a few questions I would like anyone with knowledge to clear up if possible.
1. Once I understand the ins and outs of C++, how do I move on from command prompt coding to actual development.
2. How do i start making "windows" and actually adding a GUI to my code?
3. Should I specialize in Windows coding or branch out to more open-source OS's like Ubuntu and Fedoora.
4. How are games like GunZ the Duel coded?
