I tried deleting my anti virus temporarly
But apparently I do not know which one of my programs is my anti virus (dispite the fact that my dad installed a dif one, which i wasnt aware of)
I uninstalled all that looked suspicious anti virsus (MS security essen.)
somthing called Nprotect keycript
but wth is V7 ahn lab (korean)

I said i deleted it temporarly, until I know which one of my anti virsus( yes idk if i have mroe than 1) is the problem.

Hi guys it's been 3 month since I came back on FG, but I ran in to a problem.
I redownloaded Fgunz v7 and when the launcher opens and is patching and crap, and once it finished, I click on "play now" But when i click play now it says "Couldn't start the game".
I dunno why, I checked FAQ and didnt work.

Things i tried
1.) redownloaded microsoft redistrubalte x86 2010
2.) turned off anti virus / fire wall
3.)redownloaded FGunz v7

Like above has been said, run as administrator.
Did you also installed the stuff that opened while you was installing.

Because the new client needs some program that will be opened automaticlly.

Steps to do:
1# Remove the fgunz client + map.
2# Redownload from mirrors.
3# Install and wait at last page where it opens up some program.
4# Install that program and click Play FGunZ.
5# If you have virusscanner running, please make shure it doesn't remove anything of the client (disable it first).
6# If it launches, then exit. Enable virusscanner. Try make it launch again (if it doesnt work, remove that crappy virusscanner).

7# Have a nice playtime.

Seems like your Anti-vir deleted the gunz.exe
No wodner why you can't start the game
Turn your Anti-Virus off until you finished the download and installation.
(Make sure you added the GunZ.exe and Launcher.exe to your exceptions)

Are you the only user in the PC you are using? SOmetimes antiviruses can be installed for User1 but affect User2 aswell and seeing how User1 is the one that installed it User2 can not even see the AV's controlpanel.

Srsly, **** all them virusscanners. lol!
I don't even use one. I know what I CAN and CAN'T visit/download.

But however, not recommended to remove your virusscanner cuz of the website's.

I know you are trying to help, wasn't talking about you. The virusscanners are just crap.
They are just removing files without permissions. They need to ask 'You want to remove this file? yes/no'.

However, lets keep it on thread.
