I need help my Avast Anti-Virus Detects.....Win32:Malware-gen From Patch!

I need help .... When im Patching my Freestyle Gunz my Avast Anti-Virus detects a Win32:Malware-gen and stops the Patch....What do i do?

Delete the Anti-Virus.

[Rash]

Turn off your anti virus then try to install it.

1) Open the administration console.
2) Navigate to NETWORK > Edit group settings > Expert settings > I’ll take the risk..
3) Find ‘avastcfg://FileSystemShield/FileSystem/ScanException’ property and amend its value with the exclusions you want.

the good thing about avast is that unlike many other anti-viruses you can add a folder to a list of exceptions.
Sadly I do not have Avast Anti-Virus anymore so I cannot tell you the step by step instructions on how to do it.
:/ There is an exception list you can add the FGunZ folder to though.
