PuffyJoe does not shot bot because he doesn't always hit. If you see carefully, each time you went up the pillar and glide down back and forth, he aims for your sides, your "done dashing" spot.
I'll leave this open so you don't have to remake.
Of course he doesn't always hit! Shotbot isn't aimfix, it's not going to hit for you every time. Although you should know this.
I watched the replays and I have yet to see ONE time where I cross his crosshair (or anybody) and he doesn't shoot.
