Also try Alcatraz or Terranova if u want something different, they got canceled after first seasons, but I really enjoyed those.

Lost (This one is so mysterious that I actually finished it)
Supernatural (Love the characters and the story)
Walking Dead (This is a good apocalyptic T.V. series)
Merlin (The Adventuers of Merlin) [Funny; Action; MAGIC MUHAHAHA]

Add Breaking Bad to that list and you're good to go, buddy.
