Something's wrong with the server, it doesn't work for me either. It always worked so it's a current problem.

Just had to happen as I got my new PSU so I can actually play it now. (Old one was reading 12v at 10.1v...loloops)

The server that hosts both the server and the fgunz.net site are down. Just be patient...
The launcher tries to contact the server to check if a new patch has been released, but seeing how the server will not answer back it will just error out.
Yet again, be patient.
