He wants to switch to Vista when he reformats.

I have the same problem and mine says 256MB RAM

I'd recommend not switching to Vista till 2GB RAM or up.

You have 512MB atm, which is a fourth of that.

I currently have 1GB of RAM on the computer I'm currently using, (My smecks computer is locked away since my dad says i game too much lawl) and it has XP.

Oh and i was thinking abot building a comp from scratch but saying im only 14 i can't cash out the money for some of the shit like i seen ram cards or w/e for like $300

and i have no idea were i would buy a shell or motherboard....everything els eis k coz i installed my psu and my graphics card to this comp myself and that was ezy pzy
