For example: If a martial artist was using an karate and a different martial artist was using taekwondo, they could have seperate styles and still have the same weapon. What I'm saying is that it's your style that defines how you fight & move in different situations. Therefore, Monk Style and Psy Style are different Styles. They may be branches of K-style but they are clearly nowhere near the usual k-style strategy of using simple butterfly/double butterfly techniques. K-style and Monk style involve block canceling and flip to fight but Psy Style does not... and the result is a totally different way to fight. It doesn't matter if you think K-style is the end-all-be-all style that all terms can be collected under. It doesn't change the fact that the actual style of fighting and the moves, strategy, & combos differ greatly when compared to K-style. Even the slash timing is different. What you basically just said is that K-style is an umbrella term for all styles of sword fighting. Just like "empty hand" is an umbrella term for all styles of hand to hand combat. It doesn't matter how you look at it, Psy Style as a concept exists.
Then it wouldn't be "Psy"-style, you're not the only one who ****s around with big swords, other people too..
hmm Big Sword Style.. BS STYLE LOLOLOLOL
