This is 100% secure, don't worry nothing bad will happen.
Step 1: Go to the Start button and click on it, and after that you search this word 'prefetch'.
Step 2: After you found it you open it and you'll see many items and 1 map.
Step 3: Select all those files, also the map called 'ReadyBoot'.
Step 4: Delete each single item there is. (There might come some more items after you deleted them so keep deleting!)
Step 5: Start gunz and enjoy playing without screenlag!

is only a suggestion, you do not need to use them, because there are other programs more efficient xD .

I'm also quite sure that every single one of the multiupload links is a virus.

Everytime I click on one it wants me to download an executable.

Multiupload does that, they make you use their download manager so they can slip in some hidden offers to download adware if you don't pay attention.
