It will optimize the website itself for further use at any time.
I dislike the fact I had to use it, but Nick his 14MB per image work.. had to be cached. trust me.

I am a web developer for uhm.. 5 years now..

You don't need 14mb per image cached. You simply need to optimize. Web stuff should all be 72DPI, and a width of 1280 can be just fine. Images can be around a single MB and still be large. You just both have to know how to optimize that. Imagine anyone visiting this site, and having to wait to store like 20 images x 14 mb = 280 /300 MB, it takes a while because the server upload is slow. So nobody is going to wait on that, trust me.
