The problem is that they have balanced all the characters to a even lvl. So K-style will be impossible and others styles will be less efficient.
They made the whole game go back to E-style. There for their hoping that newgens will also have a chance of winning.
But in my opinion its a huge mistake because we oldgens don't find our interests in it anymore sinds we can't use our own
developt skills(K-style)(d-style)(your own way of anticipating the situation).
So in short : the trash generation ( year 2000>) are gonna have fun and Squeek the whole place full.
