    Yeah, let's use some random proxy where a guy could be behind to get ur id pw's.

    Just the fact that if you use a proxy/VPN, people who offers them can just sniff packets and check which sites you visited, and with which id/pws you logged in.

    Could probably even do some shit w/ ur skype

    If you get a VPS, setup a Proxy on it, connect from ur Computer to it, run a sniffer on the VPS, then log into a website from ur computer, the sniffer shows the GET/POST

    Here is an easier way.

    On the top bar -> help -> about skype -> make sure you're on skype version 6.5 or greater.
    Then tools -> options -> advanced -> connections -> tick the last box that says "allow direct connections from my contacts only"

    Bam, now unless you have a static ip eventually you cant be resolved anymore and sooner or later if a website logs old ip's those will become void anyway.

    Microsoft really should've made the service opt-out instead of opt-in but meh.
