Hey uh, how do I edit my config without it going back to default? I'm used to play on every gunz with an 8bit config and maptexture on 6 and just can't get used to this archtype..

Well you can edit the config.xml file in the FGunZ folder manually?

When I do that and save it then go back in game it turns back into default config with no archtype whatsosever.

Because if you modify the config.xml file, it must be done while FGunZ is closed.
After you're done modifying it, you start FGunZ.

I did, It still doesn't work for me whatsoever it just resets the whole config.

I tried reinstalling aswell I just can't edit it without the whole config resetting.
