i have windows 8 and i made the compatibility to windows 8, ran as admin, and put fg on exception. any ideas why its still not working?????

Upload the contents of the mlog.txt and launcherlog.txt file to http://pastebin.com and post the links here.
Also be sure that you added launcher.exe and gunz.exe to all of your exception lists. Some AV's have more than 1 exception list.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.
Do me a favor and try deleting GunZ64.exe and GunZ.exe and let your launcher redownload them.
