Is it a top-down view of a canyon? Is it an open wound from a knife to an alien? Is it even the fingers of "X" alien coming together? Or just ghostly faces coming to kiss each other?
The concept is weird but the smudges are very good, just doesn't feel complete. Maybe play a bit more with colors?
