    I watched tutorials on smudge and lightings (some) so I give it a simple shot. is it being right now or Am I doing it right ? or.. nah?

    Smudging is harsh here. Try to do it with a smaller brush (around 13-14 p), opacity about 70% and preferably a hard brush, but all of that depends on the use of smudge. Lightening is okay, but I'd brighten the render up a bit more and darken the edges to give a better focal, as well as I would blur the background and sharpen the smudge. The smudge on the render itself isn't good, it looks random, its use is to blend in the render better and as for now it doesn't look blended at all. Text should be a bit more to the right, regarding rule of thirds and I'd recommend you to use colors from the render. Overall it's a good start, practice makes perfect. Good luck with further work.

    Brighten your render and smudge your render into the background with a smaller brush size.
    I like the content though, good job for a start!
