HOW DO I PUT CUSTOM CROSSHAIR IN GAME? .... iv tried crosshair crosshair_pick crosshair.png and crosshair_pick.png

Try Crosshair & Crosshair_pick (don't add the .PNG extension).

Place them in c:\program files (x86)\freestyle gunz\CUSTOM

im in the right place in s drive, CUSTOM / CROSSHAIR/ i type crosshair and crosshair_pick that doesnt work and nor does crosshair.png / crosshair_pick.png

You have to restart the game in order for it to recognize/load crosshairs.
Open your control panel, change the view to icons rather than category, click on folder options, click on the view tab, in the list look for "hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck it, hit apply.
Go to your crosshair and make sure its file name is crosshair.png (if you want multiple choices, crosshair<1-5>) and not something stupid like crosshair.png.png.
Upload the crosshair you want to use and post it in here so we can tell you why it may not work for you.
