Have you tried doing it a with a pole? Rest your forehead on top of the pole. Much better than using a football, feel more fuked as well.

Will try that tomorrow heading to wales again with the lads and ladies for weekend on drinking again so will suggest that, idea was to see who'd actually kick the ball but everyone failed i was rather close though

Create a 'safe' zone to fall into just to see how accurate you are. Possibly spin around 15-20 times too. I'd advice to place your hand between the end of the pole and your forehead too. Pole needs to remain straight while it stands as you spin. Good luck.
