    The 970 and 960m aren't almost the same. the gtx 970 has a 256bit bus compared to a 128bit bus on the gtx 960m, and the gtx 970 has 224GB/Sec bandwidth compared to 80GB/Sec on the gtx 960m. The gtx 970 also has 3 times the cuda cores of a gtx 960m, im not surprised 8x multisampling killed your framerate.

    great for clearing that out xd, I tough they wouldnt be that different from eachother as it is 1 subserie difference

    Np man, yeah the 960m compared to the 970 is a huge difference. a 960m is roughly the equivalent of a 750 ti. I'd recommend no more than 2x aa with a decent resolution being used.
