Suggestion title:
Gif profile picture.
Suggestion description:
Maybe make it easier to upload gif images or put the max amount of kb higher?
Increasing the size limit of avatars/pictures will only increase loading times of the forums (threads). With that in mind, this suggestion isn't really worth it.
This is a useless suggestion I say no, besides, it would make that when someone loads a thread or goes to a profile in here, it would make the loading slower, depending on the size of the gif picture of the profile/thread
I don't get how it would make forums any slower. slowness has to do with the persons net. if this would make the forums anyslower why not delete the how many accounts that's not even in use sense 2010? or longer. That would also slow down the forums. In my mind it wouldn't slow down forums at all. but yall can have your opinions lol.
If I'm not mistaken, VIP members are able to use bigger avatars.
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 200 by 200 pixels or 250.0 KB (whichever is smaller).
This is what I have, what's your limit?
there is a forums option in your settings that allows you to disable signatures and even custom profile pages.

I have seen people use a GIF as avatar, though sometimes it may not work.

It took me quite a while for me to get mine to work. But I had to really work around to cutting quality and frames here and there until it filled the quota of the maximum file size.
All in all, .gifs do work, however they will automatically become still images if you exceed sizes.

If you want to put a GIF as your profile picture, first thing you have to do is to resize it 200x200.
If you want to put it as an avatar, resize it by 150x150 (since you're a non-VIP member).
