Been playing for a while now and all of a sudden I have black bars. I play 1280x1024 and it never use to have black bars and now it does for some reason.

Consider adjusting your screen resolution.

You need to adjust your screen resolution.
Depending on your monitor size in inches, if it's 1920x1080, try to use the same one in-game.
Using 4:9 resolution would most likely cause you to have black bars.
If you don't want to see black bars and keep the current resolution, your only option is to play in windowed mode.
