    What anti virus would you advice me to use ?
    I need an anti virus which is secure and reliable, I got Microsoft Security Essentials at this moment, but I don't think it's helping me.
    I hope you help me with that

    Microsoft Essentials is as useless as Windows Firewall.
    I personally don't use an anti-virus, why?

    Because;
    I know how to protect myself from malwares (obviously don't download files from not trusted sources).
    Having an AV software just uses too much of your CPU/RAM/Network depending on the AV of course.
    Most of the AV don't do anything but just run on your PC as a background program like Realtek HD Audio Drivers.

    I can recommend you to uninstall all kind of AV's and just install Malwarebytes, you should be safe with it and it doesn't use much RAM moreover CPU/Network.

    In a way I agree and disagree. You can't just tell someone not have an anti virus.

    A lot of them now have a small foot print and run in the background with low memory usage. Nod32 is great for low resources and Bit Defender is rather hard core when it comes to viruses.

    I only use Windows Defender / Premium Malwarebytes and do a weekly scan with both + adwcleaner because it doesn't do any harm to do it

    I think Nod32 will suit your needs as it's not a resources hog.

    Also get ADWCleaner as it wipes everything without a problem.

    I dont use an antivirus but i recommend microsoft security essentials for realtime security, malwarebytes for your montly scanning and adwcleaner for adware removal. never pay for an antivirus unless you are a company because most of the time you won't need the extra functionality's.
