I like the idea, but monk style isnt' a good name for it, especially since that name was already used as a playstyle for the player monk. I had an idea just like this, if you aren't wielding any items, you do bare fisted combat, with animations like this. slash 1 = jab, slash 2 = cross, slash 3 = hook, slash 4 = uppercut, flip = spinning back kick to the players jaw.
