If you got dcd then too bad, this isnt life or death, it's just an event and you get more opportunities to play this event later.
We haven't really ever stopped an event because people got dcd and felt like we had to start over, it would also be unfair towards those they've already moved on with.
You can feel ignored but you know how the event works, if you're not in there then you're going to miss out, doesn't matter if you leave/dc.
If anything, Tenax should actually report you for spamming her, you're disturbing her with your spam as she's trying to continue the event for those who are still participating.
