A little suggestion about forum events

so the last forum event hosted by tenax only lasted like 50 minutes, along with the previous forum events which didnt last 3 hours, forum events end waaaaaaaaaaay to fast for over half the community to actually enjoy, my suggestion is to close the thread as it is made and open it every 3 hours from the moment it has been created, for somewhere around 10 minutes and reopen it every 3 hours. this way people have 3 hours to prepare their answers aswell as more opportunity for other people to participate.

Isn't closing and opening it is an option they aren't allowed to do in the forums?
They will need to have an FM with them no?

pretty sure they can close and open threads in the events section just as they can remove posts in the event suggestion thread

Eh, I kinda agree with you that people should get more chances. I just don't think it should be closed, it can be unfair for others who can't be online later that day or whatever. We could add [ new ] spoilers after 10 hours or so, giving new/other players a chance.

1 hour and 15 minutes is enough time for people to have a chance, especially since you only get one post each 24 hour. This isn't about coins but event points.

If they're too fast then they can make it more difficult so people would have to take longer to find out the answers.

Or they can post forum events more often, but Imo, I only think it's worth making a forum event if it's a VIP/coin event.

its a suggestion for every event moderator, a gm or an admin that might host a forum event. i wouldnt go around pming them all about it

How about the people who are in different time zones? Event team can just make another event for the next 10-12 hours and just like Linzor said, make it more difficult.
