What is the reason the shut it down completely?
What might happen if I leave it on sleep mode?

If you shut it completely, there will be no electricity running around so the thunderstorm wouldn't catch it. If you know what i mean. I've experience this once, I leave my computer in sleep mode and during this strong thunderstorm weather, I didn't care at all. I just leave it like that and when the thunder zap. My computer went off instantly and couldn't be turned on ;w; ( sorry for bad grammar jajaja )

So it's best you shut it off completely

Thanks.. there's the logic lol and I didn't figure it out myself cuz I'm stupid.
Of course it's not safe because there is still electricity running even if it's only RAM there still is.
    Oke thanks for the info.
