Most of the people that still play or have played are used to the original spread. I don't see a reason to change the spread once more.
I have played a couple of times on my free days, and I must say that the current spread is just bad or atleast feels bad compared to the original. On the original you could tell how many shots people needed to actually die in-game.. but now it just feels like a roulette, way to inconsistent with the dmg output. There are enough twitch clips that shows this result.
My vote is for the original, just to keep this game alive.
