    Edit: or we could call them perks, and each perk unlocks something new, like 1 extra bullet on any of your weapons, 5 extra range on your melee weapons, 1 extra AP or HP, the more perks the more it benefits you (ofc CW only).
    Also there would be a max perk ofc not to make it too overpowered (example that you cannot unlock 500 extra range, but more like 50 at most).
    One major downfall for this would present an issue for us as Moderators if users start dealing a sufficient amount of damage at a long distance it could cause some confusion resulting in false bans.

    Unlocked perks would be stored in the database so you can track it back (give each perk it's own ID), kind of like items have a dmg, weight, level and such set linked to their ID.
    Also the perk idea would be once you unlock it you cannot remove it from your CW play.

    Good thinking but you know how the community thinks, anything taken from the original content will ruin GunZ. The main clanwarrers would probably opt for everyone to be capped at the following;

    125/100
    Breaker 3
    Rusty SG
    5/5 Meds

    Additional add ons;

    Option to vote map selection
    Locked clan channels

    The other solution I had for perks would be kinda the same as items.

    For example the rings; FG ring I, FG ring II and so on, each new number has slightly better stats.
    We could do the same and just call it perks, open up a new item slot just for this item called "PERK".
    If you get a new PERK item you lose the one you had (so if you had PERK I you get PERK II and equip it in order to have the effect apply to your game play).

    Eventually it could be like PERK X (10):
    • +5 HP
    • +5 AP
    • +5 bullets
    • +5 melee range
    • -5 melee delay
