Try this one, i think this could help you --> http://www.kakasoft.com/usb-copy-protect/how-to.html

It seems to be having such features.
I personally would recomend you to download the trial and
check if it really works. Then if it works just grab the idea with
which it is doing things and start your development.

If files can be read/watched then they can also be copied to a different location, there's no way to prevent that. You can make it read only easily - https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001617.htm

Note that it's extremely easy to remove the readonly attribute. You could buy an encrypted USB drive, but then you can't give out the USB stick without giving out the decryption password.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

I actually couldn't understand your main post.. you have some videos on a USB stick that you don't want to be moved/copied from other people but also being able to use it on your TV without those videos popping out?

Sorry yea, I was driving as i was typing so didn't proof read what I'd said. Effectivly yes, I want the medis files to be viewed however locked so they cannot be copied or taken by another user.

You can use BitLocker to lock specific files, the other workaround is to RAR/ZIP the media that you want and make it password protected, that way the content will stay on the flash drive but won't be accessible by other users, those are the only chances that you have and if you don't want the ZIP/RAR to show up, just use the hidden functionality that Windows offers for hiding folders/files.
