The textures are so ugly.......

You don't
- trace models
- use a 2D render of someone else's model as a texture
- simply extrude a square vertex loop and call it a blade
- use a 32 vertex cylinder in GunZ development
- wallpaper image dimensions
- UV Map from view
- use flat mapping on rounded shapes/ elements
You do
- use primatives to create generic shapes
- use a 2D render as a reference if you need one
- use multiple depth areas to make the blade seem sharp
- the smallest amount of vertices possible with making the item appear to be correct
- dimensions of textures that are read by the video card correctly (1:1 or 1:2 in 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024: eg- 256x128)
- UV Map from seams or another form of proper UV Mapping
- use smoothing groups so that round objects appear round when lit

BEEEEEEENNNNNNNGGAAAAAAAA
You export it using one of the plugins available for Blender or 3DS Max
Offtopic, what is up with your signature, I thought I opened the wrong tab there for a moment, heu heu heu.
Looks weird '-' if Fgunz gonna use it then should we use it as a Dagger or Rev? LOL
