I feel like that Epic Deer guy got carried a lot. Playing Syndra is fun and all but over all she's fairly weak. Solo que is a lot of luck. I don't really hold any high elo players from solo que in high regards. I got three accounts to plat in S1, and I didn't even play ranked S2. The community was so bad in S2.. couldn't play a single game without an afker or a feeder or someone who just didn't want to work with the rest of the team.

i didn't just play syndra to get 2.1k, and if im successful it's probably because im good with that champ. 2 weeks before S2 ended i went from 1900 to 2300

a lot of times around mid game it becomes very situational. so your item build may vary from time to time.

if you are getting focused and bursted down a lot by the ap carrys build some magic resist to sustain that.

mercurial scimitar is good for the attack + mr

banshee vail is good for the extra hp+mana and good passive with the new s3 change.

guardian angel has a good passive for when your getting focused a lot. it alos builds your armor+magic resist.

As ezreal your going to be the adc. And you will get focused more often. So take this into consideration

Ezreal should never be focused if you can kite and ezreal can kite pretty well. Especially with that new gauntlet.
Take cleanse if they have a lot of cc.
Serpento is right as well with the item variety. A lot of things to take under consideration.
