You could improve some things:
- Make it so you don't have to use class="rating" for every image.
- Make it so you don't have to use <div id="nav1"> for every menu item.
- Don't use <img src for background images, use the background css property instead.
- Instead of using <hr />, try to use a bottom border for the images.

I'm no coder so this is way better than anything I coulda made. Only thing I would do differently would be the fonts and the background.

Even if this is a first time website, we should always give criticism to help him improve. Everyone with the exception of teachers shouldn't keep in mind if it is a first time try or an experienced developer who made it, if you do you will get criticism like you gave, also to be judged as useless and time wasted effort to even read it.

Sorry, I'm very literal.

No where on his first post nor in the thread topic did it address that he wanted criticism. I admire that he isn't distressed or hurt by the criticism he receives. Some people are always bothered by that.
No, I am not saying that the criticism he is receiving is a bad thing.
It WILL help him improve.
However, I'm addressing him from a first timers standpoint.
I didn't include any criticism in mine, if I did, my post would of been hypocritical.
